A new cursor with a magnifying glass and a "+" sign appears. You can now interactively select the portion of the sound file you want to see on-screen. The zoom-in factor is defined like this:
The area selected by the magnifying glass cursor will be displayed in the entire graphical window.
The Zoom In command can also be activated by clicking on 
in the toolbar section.
