A new cursor with a magnifying glass and a "-" sign appears. You can now interactively select the portion of the sound file you want to see on-screen. The zoom-out factor is defined like this:
The entire graphical window will be displayed in the area selected by the magnifying glass cursor.
The Zoom Out command can also be activated by clicking on 
in the toolbar section.
